Slides & Photo
Videography wasn’t the only one going through a transformation from film to digital. The world of photography is currently experiencing the most dramatic conversion ever! Digital photography is easy to use, has convenient storage and has media portability. It wasn’t always this way.
Convert your old fading 35mm, 120mm, old photos and negatives to JPG, TIFF or PSD!
Three common film formats that we convert are: 35mm slides, 120mm slides, 35mm negatives, 120mm negatives and printed photographs of any size. We use the highest quality Epson scanners and usually scan negs and slides at 1200DPI,which is suitable to reprint an 8×10 image (of course, we can scan at higher resolutions upon request). Hard copy photographs are usually scanned at 600DPI (higher resolutions are available upon request).
Here are a few advantages to converting your slides, negatives, and photographs to a digital format (JPEG, TIFF, or PSD)…
* Desktop computers, laptops and iPods have tons of storage capability. Some of the newer iPods can hold as much as 5,000 photos, so by going digital you save space.
* Your photos are organized and accessible.
* By using a number of FREE online photo players you can store, change and share your images. You can download many free programs off the internet. Picasa is software that helps you instantly find, edit and share all the pictures on your PC. Every time you open Picasa, it
automatically locates all your pictures (even ones you forgot you had) and sorts them into visual albums organized by dates with folder names you will recognize. You can even play around with your
digital images in Photoshop, if you are looking to edit or manipulate your images.
